CUSTOM HAND ENGRAVED VINTAGE VIKING STYLE HATCHET AXE WITH CARVED HANDLE & NEW PREMIUM LEATHER SHEATH BLADE The unmarked blade was used but is beautifully restored and reshaped, polished and is extremely sharp - please handle with care!

I am not responsible for any of your accidents. While cleaning and polishing the blade I left the aged marks and spotty patina on the blade. This sure gives a nice vintage look. I engraved a WILD BOAR on one side of the blade. On the other side I hand-engraved a Boar's Hoof and Boar's Skeleton. I used both - a solid wood wedge with epoxy and a metal wedge for setting the head.It got a very tight and beautiful fit. SHEATH I hand-crafted the Sheath out of Premium Leather, custom fitted specifically for this axe.
Nice nature on the leather makew a nice complement to the whole tool. The Sheath will protect you from accidental cuts and makes it safer during handling. HANDLE The handle is custom carved out of one piece of solid Northern Birch.
It's a very smooth and comfortable wood.
Up in Europe alot of people used this kind of wood for hatchet's handles.
An intriguing WILD BOAR is carved out on both sides of the handle.
I oil painted the carving and gave extra layers of varnish for extra protection.
Check out the photos - very unique and fascinating. Not found anywhere else! These are my ideas and creations made one at a time. I hand sanded the handle to a nice, smooth & comfortable texture. The handle has a very comfortable light grip design and it fits perfectly in adult hand. A nice, deep layer of stain was applied to give the hatchet a beautiful look.
In addition, I applied two separate layers of professional grade Behlen Rockhard Urethane Varnish. This can be great for hiking, camping, collection.
This can be a special beautiful, unique gift to someone special of yours. SIZE Head Height: 5"
