EBAY ALSO TAKES A CUT ON SHIPPING AS WELL.Up for auction is a Used "VERY RARE" "VERY NICELY RESTORED" VINTAGE AGM MODEL 57 WHITE GASOLINE LARGE 400 CANDLE POWER SINGLE MANTLE LANTERN CIRCA: EARLY 1920'S, Made by The AMERICAN GAS & MACHINE CO. MN, USA. for a brief period in the early 1920's. It is shown in the 1923 Catalog, but not in the 1926 catalog. CONDITION & HISTORY: This lantern was completely stripped down and cleaned. The ventilator and font/tank were sent out and BOTH have been restored with a high temp. Industrial hard Powder coat finish at a very high temp.. The Burner frame has also been restored with a bright High temp. Powder Coat Silver & Chrome finish. A small ding or two on the tank/fount, but NO dents on this lantern. Has a brass coated CERAMIC BURNER. The generator is used and will most likely need to be replaced. Coleman R55 Generators work on this model. There is no Mica globe. However, they can easily be purchased. New Cap Gasket installed. The valve assembly has also been repacked with new graphite. All Valves turn smoothly, Holds air fine! Air flows through the generator when the valve is opened. I have never tested the heat tolerance of the product used and can NOT state how well it holds up, as I NEVER burn my restored lanterns.
