This saddle is an older Devoucoux Biarritz, "normal" tree (medium), 1 flap (short) regular flap (slightly forward in my opinion). The saddle is in great condition for its age and is one of the most comfortable saddles I have ever ridden in. I recently had brand new panels put on it, special ordered from Devoucoux in France. All work was done in the Devoucoux/CWD repair shop in California. The photo of the leather tab shows the new panel configuration. The saddle was also cleaned and reconditioned while there. The new panels have less than 10 rides. The panels are meant to fit a larger variety of horses. However, this saddle is more banana shaped and will best suit a more shapely back. Imperfections can be seen in the photos such as the spots on the seat and the small holes on the sweat flap where the old panels were installed. Ask questions before buying! More photos available!
