This is a new Council Tool 100th anniversary saddle axe. Only 130 of these were made, and they are all numbered. This is number 38, and is a fine example of the excellent product Council produces. The axe has never been used, but when received it did receive a coating of boiled linseed oil to protect the blade and handle, which is what you see on the blade and handle. It is extremely sharp. Since there were only 130 made so they are very hard to find. Please let me know if you have questions before bidding.
