Ever so slightly used -- excellent condition!!!The Story (Why do I have an essentially unused saddle for sale?!) :
A few years ago, when my daughter started riding, I got back in the saddle too. I got a horse and thought I might try out dressage as some of the other mom riders in the barn were focused on that discipline. The Albion dealer comes to adjust their saddles... one thing leads to another... she has the perfect saddle for me, my horse... and suddenly I was one well outfitted dressage rider. Thing is, I never liked it. I was much more comfortable in my hunter saddle. So- my loss, your gain. This also explains why I am not familiar with measuring and describing a dressage saddle. I will be prompt with all questions and measurements if you can tell me where to put the tape. I did my best based on hunter world concerns.The Description:Beautiful, comfortable saddle in EXCELLENT shape. It has maybe been ridden in 20 times. Billets (see photo) barely have girth marks.Wool flocked panels. Includes leathers, irons, girth, and a lined, zippered full cover in which it has been stored- you will have to change the monogram.Color: BlackTree Width: My horse was a warmblood who took a solid medium wide in a hunter saddle- so I assume that is what this is (it was fitted to her). I included a picture with measuring tape for reference , but was not exactly sure where to measure on a dressage saddle. Seat Size: Stamped 17", but measuring as we do in hunter saddles, looks more like 18" (see photo)Flap: measures approximately 17 5/8" in length from stirrup bar straight downGirth: Black Albion 22- perfect conditionIrons: MDC Ultimate Stirrups, jointed, black with grey pads, 4 1/2" - excellent shape, even the pads!Leathers: Albion stamped 57", black, leather & stitching in excellent shape, with only the slightest indent where my stirrup hole was and where the stirrup hung.Cover: Custom navy nylon with silver webbing, plush lining, zipper along the front to fully enclose and protect the saddleThe Details:Shipping: Flat rate $50.00 in the continental US, local pickup available in South Florida- or in Lexington KY if you can wait a month. Ebay made me choose a service (USPS Parcel Select)- I will investigate the options when the time comes and may choose a different service. It is certain to be over $50, but I will absorb the rest. It will be well packaged, insured, and trackable.If you are in the Wellington, FL area, I am happy to let you try it on your horse- assuming we can find a mutually agreeable time, but I am not willing to send it out on trial.
