Recently the original members of the Bones Brigade got back together for a 30th reunion at a newly recreated Animal Chin Ramp. Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Mike McGill, and Lance Mountain recreated the famous Animal Chin ramp photo, taken by the legendary Grant Brittain. Now you can own a part of this amazing history. The very exact skateboard that Tony Hawk rode at those sessions is up for auction, directly from Tony Hawk's office (not a memorabilia collector). This is the real deal. Tony will be happy to sign it for you, but you may want to keep it exactly as-is. Up to you. It will be yours to frame or ride or set on your desk. It comes with an official Tony Hawk authenticity card and matching authenticity sticker attached.It's not often that a piece of skateboarding history like this comes up for auction, so bid high and bid often. He shot to fame as a member of the popular Bones Brigade team for Powell Peralta as he was winning 12 straight world championships in vert skateboarding. He went on to found Birdhouse Skateboards in 1993, still going strong. He has invented nearly 100 tricks, most notably being the first the accomplish the holy grail of vert skating, the 900. In 1999, his first video game, Tony Hawk Pro Skater came out through Activision and quickly became a massive success. His video game franchise eventually sold well over $1.5 billion in sales worldwide. At one point is was noted that Tony Hawk was one of the top 3 most famous athletes in the world. And now, at age 48, Tony is still skating at every day, all around the world, even completing a final 900 this past year. He's the Babe Ruth, the Michael Jordan, the Tom Brady, the Pele, the Gretzky of his sport and you can own a significant piece of his history. Shipping will be UPS Ground (actual cost) in the USA and will include insurance and tracking. International shipping will be handled through Ebay's international shipping system.
