I am not responsible for any of your accidents. This is a TRUE TEMPER BIT. Has a 'A30' stamp on it.
On one side of the blade I hand-engraved bear’s head and his two tracks.
On the opposite side a beautiful scrollwork is engraved.It looks really nice. The handle nicely matches the blade.
Polished the bit to a mirror-like condition. Very few areas show minor aged marks, thus attributing to a vintage like condition. WEDGE I used a solid wood wedge with epoxy for setting the head.
It has a very tight and beautiful fit.
HANDLE The handle is custom carved out of one piece of solid Black Locust (Acacia). Acacia is premium, very hard wood and perfect for these kinds of tools.
A friendly BEAR is carved out on both sides of the handle.

I hand sanded the handle to a very nice, smooth texture.The handle has a very comfortable grip design and it fits perfectly in adult hand. A nice layer of stain was applied to give the hatchet a beautiful, deep look.
