Runs on 2 AA batteries and is extremely responsive. Has not lost a signal ONCE, unlike the previous remote. Metroboard made sure that this one works perfectly and it does!! Board and everything else cost me: $1200 I personally believe in terms of durability and usage, Metroboard stands above the other competitors. Everything is so well built especially the battery casing. Nothing short of a really powerful impact would damage the board.
