This is a nice long term Survival Kit, created by myself. I'm an experienced backpacker, hiker, hunter, fishermen and outdoor enthusiast from Northwestern Oregon and have tested this kit in many real life situations. This Survival Kit is perfect for my situation but I recommend thinking about your own situation, location, nearby resources etc. All details for your specific situation should be assessed and add or remove certain items that are or aren't useful for your location and situation. This kit is great for someone that lives near bodies of water but can be easily adjusted to fit for any situation, location, etc.Things to think about when considering what to add:- Food, do you plan to to be prepared for a short survival trip or long term?         If Long, I would fill your bag with dehydrated food, dry food, rice, oatmeal, etc         If Short, I would fill your bag with freeze dried instant meal, these can be bought at many stores including Bi-Mart, WalMart, etc.-More Hunting or Fishing supplies? I am giving a very good base fishing collection to start with and last a long time.-Are you in a desert, dry type location? If so, I would suggest packing more water.Also, I have to say...this kit is meant for ADULTS Only and contains sharp and dangerous items not recommended for children.
