These are rare to come by, and certainly not for this price - new saddles go for over $5,000 - and for good reason, Devoucoux is one of the best saddle makers in the world.
The leather is in good condition, thick and soft. This saddle still has many many good years left in it. The leather in Devoucoux saddles is top quality, so it keeps it's softness and with normal care will never resemble one of those hard old creaky saddles!
Devoucoux saddles are all handcrafted and are part the group I consider the top elite french saddle manufacturers : Butet, Childeric, Antares, and Delgrange. My opinion (although I know many other professionals who agree with me) is that these five manufacture the best luxury saddles in the world. Devoucoux saddles are known for their great fit, and incomparable comfort.
We are Based in Switzerland, and am selling this saddle from here (even though I was not able to put in the correct postal code in my listing). I have a long experience shipping saddles, and will send it well packed and insured. have sold numerous saddles on ebay, and have always had very satisfied customers. I will ship anywhere :) I do not accept returns unless the item was not as described, so please know your size in Devoucoux saddles before bidding!This Biarritz Devoucoux jumping saddle is in good used condition. It is older (I would say around 2000, but the age isn't listed in this saddle's serial number for some reason), but it still looks great. It has Besides the scratches on cantle and pommel (see pictures). The seat size is a 17″ . The tree size is a standard 4,5″ The flap length are 13″, and the width are 14″ Numbers under the flap are as follows (see picture): 845 B 17 2 It comes with its original Devoucoux saddle cover.
