Industrial Rescue E-Flood Litebox DC Rechargeable Long Lasting Lantern System Customer Review: I ordered this for my expedition van that I'm preparing for a long trip. The plan is to mount it in the back of the van, hardwired into the 12 volt to keep it charged.However, before I even got it installed, I've put it to use for several hours already -- without charging it yet.1) while prepping my van, I found this to be much easier than my corded lights for working underneath the van. and when it gets dark, I can set this inside to augment and fill in the shadows left by my dual 1kw halogen units.2) last night, the fiancee spilled a pot of onion soup in her trunk, and it was a big cleanup. There were no plugs for my normal work lights there, so this was the only option. I placed it on top of a hedge next to the car, so we could get light from above.The beam is nice and wide, provides good fill, and pretty good color quality. The casing is a nice high-visibility orange, and seems quite durable. The light head can hinge up/down and side-to-side, for good range of adjustment. The swivel head has enough friction that it stays put where I want it aimed, but also is easily adjustable and smooth moving.This is a lead acid battery, and definitely has heft to it. It's going to stay put when you set it down, though I don't think I'd be carrying it for extended periods of time.
