This is a copy of the Koehler Wheat Light Head, Model 5100 made by Adcon. It is a new head, a new bulb, with a phono jack. The bulb is a new 12-volt hi-lo bulb. If you are unfamiliar with the Wheat bulbs, they have 2 filaments, designed to have one as a back up in the mines. This one has one brighter filament for shining trees, etc. BATTERY
The battery pack is a 21-volt, 4.0 amp hour Nickel metal hydride (nimh). It is new and very light, only 2.5 pounds. The belt pack has a snap loop to manage the cord, a mini-plug for charging, banana jacks for a spotlight and a phono jack for connecting the head. On top is a 5-position on-off switch. Each click increases the brightness. This switch also controls the walking light, thus eliminating the need for a push-button switch. The walking comes with an LED bulb which is an energy mizer and will burn even when the head will not. It is a built in emergency backup. The head light will burn 9-10 hours continuously on the low side of the bulb and approximately 1.5 hours on the high side. I have spotlights available if you want one but I do not think you will need a spotlight. This light is BRIGHT! BELT
The belt is 2 ply nylon and 2 inches wide with a single accessory strap. They are available in sizes from 36 to 48 inches in 2 inch increments measured to the middle hole. State size when purchasing otherwise I send a 48. CHARGER
The charger is 400 mAH smart charger. Red LED indicates charging, green LED shows fully charged. Has reverse polarity protection. WARRANTY
NIMH batteries and parts - 36 months, 100%. Plus, LIFETIME workmanship warranty. That is, if something comes loose, or a wire breaks we will repair it for free as long as you own the light. All you ever pay for is parts that are out of warranty This is based on normal use but not accidental damage, abuse or tampering. This is based on the light being returned to me for repair. I build these lights and they have ALL quality components that will provide excellent service. All parts are the same as many lights sold today.
