A: Please go to the App Store or Google Play, search for “ACTON” and download the app. You can set 3 modes – beginner, normal, and pro, via the app. Once the mode is set, you can put your phone aside and use the remote to control & brake. Q: CAN I RIDE THE BLINK BOARD IN THE RAIN?
A: Light rain and water spray are ok but over time it may affect the electronics. Just like your phones, light rain is ok but not soaking them in water. Q: What happens when my board runs out of battery?
A: BLINK electric skateboard contains hub motors, which provide almost zero resistance. You can kick and push as if it was a regular skateboard. Q. IS SAFETY GEAR REQUIRED WHILE RIDING THE BLINK BOARD?
A: Yes, we always recommend wearing a helmet and other safety gear like gloves, pads, and long sleeves when riding. Q. CAN BLINK BE CARRIED ON AIRPLANES?
A: The BLINK S model is ok. BLINK S's battery is 80Wh which is compliant with the regulations regarding transport of the board on most passenger planes (some require under 100Wh, some under 160Wh). However, airlines have the authority to make the final call which we cannot guarantee, so we suggest calling the airline prior to travel. We traveled with S on Delta from SFO-NYC recently, no problem at all. But again, airlines have the authority to make the final, contact the airline prior to travel. Q. BATTERY LIFE CYCLES?
A: We are using high grade Samsung and Panasonic battery cells. After 500 charging cycles, these packs will still hold 80% of capacity.
