Type of Case: Canoe Backpack, with inner map pocket.
Size: Measured along sewn seams, 21" wide, 22" high, 6-1/2" deep. Of course it's canvass allows free form into all sorts of shapes.
Color: Olive Drab Green
Age (if known): 1960's-1970's
Condition: Overall Good Condition. Straps are strong and not dried out. Minor wear spot on the bottom that may need stitching. There is some minor corrosion around the brass/copper rivets. These can be cleaned and polished by the discerning camper. Also, the backpack would benefit from a freshening up. It's recommended that the pack be spot cleaned and then leather treated separately, not machine washed. Note the embroidered flowers, gives the pack a certain hipness.
