The main purpose of it is to be used as a primary light on dives in sumps as a lightweight option where the transportation of diving equipment is a big issue. It may also be used as a backup light on diving expeditions where a technical torch is used and a head lamp is also needed when the cave exploration continues after the sump. However, if someone wants to operate it handheld, we could provide a goodman mount that could be used. SPECS: 2000 lumens:Two high efficiency XML-2 LEDs for outstanding output performance. Easily upgradable. COMPACT ROBUST DESIGN: Lightweight durable anodized 6082 Aluminium Alloy case. Small size to maximize durability and style. USER REPLACEABLE BATTERY CELLS: The lamps run on two 18650 Li-ion cells of any brand. The user is free to use whatever brand he prefers and carry spares sourced locally. CAVE DIVING:Designed for cave diving and for use in extreme conditions. Depth rated to -250 meters. Individually tested to 7 bar. PIEZO SWITCH: Piezoelectric Switch does not produce magnetic interference when surveying. No moving parts to be clogged by mud. Vandal proof. GOPRO MOUNT: Phaethon lamps are compatible with GoPro mounts for ease of accessory sourcing.
