These are rare to come by, and certainly not for this price - new saddles go for over $5,000 - and for good reason, Devoucoux is one of the best saddle makers in the world.
The leather is in good condition, thick and soft. This saddle still has many many good years left in it. The leather in Devoucoux saddles is top quality, so it keeps it's softness and with normal care will never resemble one of those hard old creaky saddles!
Devoucoux saddles are all handcrafted and are part the group I consider the top elite french saddle manufacturers : Butet, Childeric, Antares, and Delgrange. My opinion (although I know many other professionals who agree with me) is that these five manufacture the best luxury saddles in the world. Devoucoux saddles are known for their great fit, and incomparable comfort.
We are based in Switzerland, and are selling this saddle from here (even though I was not able to put in the correct postal code in my listing). I have a long experience shipping saddles, and will send it well packed and insured. have sold numerous saddles on ebay, and have always had very satisfied customers. This saddle is in absolutely wonderful, virtually new condition. The saddle is doubled in gorgeous soft grippy calf leather! The pictures speak for themselves:) It comes with a padded Devoucoux saddle cover. Size is an 18″ (measures true to size, see pictures)The saddle tree is a roomy 5″.
