A : Yes it is!!! In order to connect to the low pressure quick connect fitting on some RVs you have to do the following: Obtain the Camco 59903 nipple, (1/4" NPT x Full Flow Male), Camco 57282 10 Ft. propane quick connect hose and a 90 degree brass fitting (1/8 NPT male threads x 1/4 NPT female threads). In order to connect to the low pressure quick connect fitting on some RVs you have to do the following: Obtain the Camco 59903 nipple, (1/4" NPT x Full Flow Male), Camco 57282 10 Ft. propane quick connect hose and a 90 degree brass fitting (1/8 NPT male threads x 1/4 NPT female threads). You can get the 90 degree fitting at the hardware store or auto parts store usually. Next you will have to remove the brass portion of the regulator assembly that came with the grill. It is the section that actually attaches to the grill. You should see where the brass part screws on the silver pipe that eventually loops around to the regulator itself. It is a bear to get loose because they use some kind of thread adhesive between the brass and the silver pipe. Once you get it off, attach the brass fitting to the 90 degree fitting, the 90 to the Camco nipple all using thread sealant tape and then connect your hose to your new fitting assembly and then your RV. Worked fine for me and had less than forty bucks in making it all work. Just in case someone doesn't understand why all this is has to be done, it is because you must remove the regulator since the RV propane is already regulated at the tanks and Coleman uses their own special fitting on the rear of the grill that no one seems to make an adapter for. see less Q : Has anyone had problems with latch falling open so lid won't stay shut when the unit is tipped up to roll or store?
A : Yes! We've had our grill for over 6 years and the latch has never stayed in place. But we love this grill. We use a bungee cord when transporting it. Q : how do you get the lid handle and lock assembly warrantied?
A : I'm not sure - I've had no issues with mine. What happened to yours?You might try calling Coleman customer service and tell them your problem. Sorry I can't be of more help. Q : can this grill be left outside? even in PA harsh winters?
A : I have left it outside in the summer with a plastic cover over it, but it folds up nicely and I hang it in my garage for the winter, I suppose it could be left outside during the winter if you covered it with a plastic grill cover. Shipping / Return Policies
