FAQ: 1. Is the GYENNO Spoon right for you?In general, the GYENNO Spoon works effectively for people with the amplitude of hand tremor less than 7 cm. It provides limited benefits if your tremor amplitude is out of this range. 2. How to UseTurn on the device, hold the handle as the usual way you use a spoon. Do not try to touch the front movable arm, due to this action may cause damage of the device
No worries to buzzing or twisting by the device, it is very common reaction by the device, because the device is working effectively to offset the external shake
Please turn off the device before you take off the utensil attachment. Wash the utensil attachment after taking off
The device will turn to sleeping mode automatically when you leave it on the table. Once you grip it in your hand, it will automatically switch to active mode. You don't have to switch it on and off every time, just leave it without worrying about switching on and off3. TipsDo not be nervous when using the device, it will increase tremor while being anxious or nervous. Try to use it alone at the first time you use the device, which may help to relax yourself
You may take a few days to get used to the device since you have to re-learn a new way to feed yourself with GYENNO Spoon during the tremor lasting. We recommend learning the new way to eat for at least one week in order to decide if it fits for you
Please use a larger and shallower bowl , so that there is enough space and angle for the device working
Please don't try to control the hand holding the device, it is better forget about the tremor, just enjoy the meal , GYENNO Spoon will do its job to keep your food steady
Do not worried about the moveable part of the device ( the part between the attachment and the handle) , it might look weak or not reliable, but it is designed for performing better anti-shake4. ChargingThere are two lights in the box, one is charging light in red or blue, the other one is GPRS light in yellow or green. One LED breathing light on the handle of the deviceLED breathing light of the device flashing in red, shows the battery is low. You need to charge it or replace
the battery. In average, it takes 90 minutes to charge the battery fully. It shows the battery is fully charged once the green light is on
Put the device directly into the handle slot in the box, just keep in mind , you must switch off the device
manually before charging
It shows the charging process is working well if the red light of the box is on, if no red light is on in the box, please adjust the position of the handle in the handle slot in order to make the contactor in the hand slot touch the charing pin of the handle perfectly, until the red light in the box is on
GPRS light in the box is always on while the power is on the box. it shows the wireless data connection is good when it is green or not bright; It shows the wireless connection is weak when it is yellow5. CleaningThe handle of the device can not be watering. The utensil attachment can be removed from the handle for cleaning, but please turn off the device before you detach the utensil attachment
You can use antibacterial tissues to wipe the surface of the device for cleaning6. AttentionPlease keep charging cradle away from water or other liquids
Wash the handle of the device is prohibited
If the charging cradle drop into the water, please disconnect the plug immediately
Never put the device close to a heat source , never placed it in extreme temperatures
Any defects that are caused by neglect, misuse or mistreatment by the Customer including dropping, immersion in liquid, exposure to extreme temperatures, or alterations/ modifications to the product in any way are not under warranty
Turn off the switch before replacing or removing the utensil attachment
