This is a beautiful trail saddle for a wide backed horse. It has a Steele tree HA bars. This would likely fit a wide backed horse or a draft horse. I bought this saddle so that my quarter horses mare would be more comfortable and have more shoulder movement. It was fit to her using the FTBS saddle fitting process by Steele Saddle Tree LLC. It is in excellent used condition. Stirrups, latigo and short latigo show little wear. Lots of saddle strings and attachment points for trail gear. Three point/ V rigging is excellent for long trail rides. It helps keep the saddle in place and pulls down on the tree at two points, therefore distributing the pressure better than other rigging types. This saddle measures at 16 inches per pictures but feels bigger than that, fits more like a 17 inch. Allegany Mountain trail saddles is a quality American saddlery.
