1980 Batavus Starflite moped all 100% original with only 131 original miles!!!Hello everyone, this is a listing for a 1980 Batavus Starflite moped model M48 30MPH. Before I get to far into the description I wanted to mention if anyone has any questions please feel free to call me directly at 570-875-7109.These mopeds were made in Netherlands and imported to USA. They came in only 4 colors Red, Yellow, Grey and Light Oak. They had the M48 and M56 models and came in 20mph, 25mph and 30mph. This particular moped is the M48 30 mph model and came in Yellow which I think is the best color out of the 4 options. Another interesting thing about this particular example is that it only has 131 original miles and is in near mint original condition and comes with all the paperwork. It has the original tools, original owners manual, original shipping paperwork from Netherlands and also the original cutout from the original box/crate it was shipped in that has the model, mph and factory color marked. It also has the serial # and engine # marked on it as well. You don't see this kind of paperwork to match hardly ever.Now the moped again is in near mint condition with only 131 original miles. It was garage kept in climate controlled conditions since new and it shows as all the chrome, wheels, exhaust, etc. are perfect. There are only 2 very small flaws; one super small chip on right side of gas tank which I point out and small blem on the tank decal in a spot. I took over 100 detailed pictures to show the condition and have then below in this listing. The moped starts right up and idles smooth and runs very excellent with NO issues. The engine has NO leaks ands looks like it did in 1980. It needs nothing and is ready to go into someone's collection.
