Russian Army combat field ration provides approximately 3580 kcal/14987 kJ for Menu 2 and 3540 kcal/14819 kJ for Menu 3, enough to nourish a soldier undergoing strenuous physical activity.The meals are precooked and can therefore be safely consumed either heated or unheated.
