Iris V 500 is a 3 pole, five person tunnel tent that is ideal for
weekend and short break family camping.
As part of the Vango Exclusive collection, the Vango Iris V 500 is
available in a new vibrant herbal green colour way and features Vango’s
Vista front windows with improved 5,000mm hydrostatic head
waterproofing. Designed to be simple and quick to pitch with Vango's
patented Tension Band System (TBS II®) can be used for increased
stability in high winds and creates a stress free pitching experience.
Additional features include zipped privacy curtains for flexibility,
cable entry point and living area storage to name but a few. The Vango
Iris V 500 is ideal for family campers or friends who desire a well
engineered tent combined with great value for money.
Features:
• Flysheet and inner pitch together making it simple and quick to pitch
and pack.
• The Vango patented TBS ®II – Tension Band System ensures that your
tent performs in adverse conditions, especially strong, changeable
winds. In calm conditions the system can be disconnected if desired.
When tensioned, the bands brace the pole and prevent sideways movement.
The buckles should be adjusted so that slack is removed, but not over
tensioned, as this may deform the poles.
• The ProTex 70 Denier polyester flysheet of the Vango Iris V 500 is a
highly waterproof, durable and reliable fabric that will keep you dry
and comfortable, and it's exclusive to Vango.
• All flysheet and groundsheet seams are factory taped, giving a water
tight seal.
• PE groundsheets are robust, hardwearing and waterproof to 10,000mm.
Ideal fabric to stand up to the rigours of the most active of campers.
• Breathable polyester inner tent- the fabric allows condensation to
pass through, ensuring a comfortable nights sleep.
• Lights Out Inner Tent - Darker fabric inner reduces the amount of
early morning light.

re-pitching.
