DETAILS The Pro Series Lucas Splitting Axe is a Professional grade splitting axe that utilizes a German designed head made to be used for heavy and rigorous splitting tasks. This sharp, steep incline wedge will outperform most other common splitting axes. The heel of the axe blade (bottom point of edge) features a small turnaround hook for log moving.The Helko Pro Series was created for the discerning professional. These tools are designed to withstand long term rigorous use with utmost consideration to safety. All axes and mauls incorporate a safety screw installed through the head into the handle to prevent the head from working free of the shaft. The powder coated sheet steel overstrike protector reduces shaft wear and breakage, and protects against miss swings. HEAD
