this is my latest customized Helle knife , it is built with a 4 1/2" laminated Helle GT blade. this knife has a custom handle with stabilized maple burl , stacked leather , black micarta and red paper liners caped of with a brass pommel. the hand tooled sheath is both stitched and riveted, with a dangle, a leg lanyard and a ferro rod hoop as well to hold the matching 5/16" ferro rod fire starter. BTW if you have to used the fire starter you will need to scrape it with the part of the blade next to the ricasso because the spine being laminated with stainless will not spark it but the core of the knife is carbon steel. this knife is 9 1/2" overall and the blade is aprox 4 1/2" and razor sharp.
