The saddle was special ordered to look like a roping style saddle with padded seat and lower cantle but made with a Mule Bar tree. The saddle is in good shape the tree is tight and fleece is fine. The keeper has Handcrafted Saddlery Dakota est 1988 USA 500MB 16. It is used and has some dirt and marks but is fine and has all smooth leather. The saddle also has double n skirt rigging and big roping stirrups. It measures 16 1/4" but sits like a 15 3/4" seat. The leather on the saddle is very soft and flexible. It also has a shorter skirt which is about 26 1/4" long and a D ring right in the middle behind the seat. The saddle is ready to be used.
