This longbow is made by super bowyer Arvid Danielson at Black Swan Archery. Here is an excerpt from his website-- "Black Swan Archery offers three distinctly different bows. All are designed using a proprietary CAD program and the most technically advanced materials available, resulting in the highest dynamic efficiency of any bow to date. The bows are smooth to draw and shoot, forgiving, accurate, and very fast. With IBO speeds of 300 FPS!" This particular bow is 66" in length and has a 38# draw weight at 28", which may not seem like much if you want to hunt rhino or DC-10s, but keep in mind due to Arvid's proprietary design this bow is the most efficient on the market, meaning you get more stored energy in the string moving the arrow forward (and less wasted energy) than any other maker. That's a bold claim. Check out the Black Swan website and click on the Performance tab>Report, and read the independent test report for one of Black Swan's super bows-- almost a 90% efficiency! The bow I'm selling is about 2 years old. I'm a collector and not a shooter (due to tendonitis in both arms), and honestly this bow has never been shot. It is as new. The bow was stored horizontally and unstrung, resting in the included sock on a shelf in my football stadium-sized closet, so the tiller is unaffected. The original string is included, as well as a bow tip protector. I've tried to take some good pics, but if anyone wants to see more just ask. Finally, these bows are hard to find and are highly sought after. I believe this is the only one on ebay, so here is an excellent opportunity to own a very sweet super bow. (Sorry for the shameless plug). Bow will be safely packed in a bow box. And shipping is free to 48 contiguous only.
