The Terraplane is a very compartmentalized pack, with a lower sleeping bag compartment, two huge outside pockets, and a zipper near the bottom for easy access to the main area without having to unpack everything. The top of the pack can be removed and combined with the hip belt to form a waist day pack. It's in excellent condition. One of the outer pockets has a small hole which can be seen in the pictures posted. When the pack was purchased, I was told it carries a lifetime warranty. I believe it is still honored by a company called Marmot.
