The Silva Exceed XT is a high-performance rechargeable head torch, designed with high-speed adventure sports like orienteering, running, biking and XC skiing in mind. Featuring an activity light, the Exceed X allows you to tailor the output depending on the activity being carried out and offers a maximum of 1300 lumens in bike mode. A temporary search mode is also available, which will give 1600 lumens output for 5 seconds before returning to the previous setting. Short hard presses will change between bike, X-ski, run and blink modes, while short soft presses will switch between high and low outputs within the bike, X-ski and run modes. A long soft press will activate search mode and a long hard press will turn the light off. The Supplied 9900 mAh 7.4 V lithium-ion battery pack is easily charged up using the included USB charging cable that goes into the USB port on the computer or via the wall using the UK mains USB adaptor. It can also be charged on the go with a car charger adaptor that can be purchased separately on our website. As well as attaching to a headband, the Exceed X allows flexibility with its multiple attachment options that include a bike mount and helmet mount. When the light is turned off an LED battery status indicator glows up either green or red for five seconds so you know if the battery is ready for charging. At 15% power the light will automatically enter into reserve mode, lowing the output with enough light to illuminate the path and lasting for at least an hour, so that you will not be left in the dark.
