This is largely as found, and has some flaky paint at the base. The glass is a correctly round bottom shaped genuine original, and bears no real marks of any consequence.The burner cap has some loss of enamel on the top surface, but is still not as unsightly by far as many others have become, and a choice of new replacements seem readily available at little expense. The tank has a couple of marks and some very light stains in the paint as well as some paint flaking off below the chrome band.The wick holder has lost some of the chrome finish and is a little scorched around the area of the match hole.There are no dents or leaks and this lit easily and readily with just a little loss of pressure from the tank vent seal in the filler cap. I used a cap of another Bialaddin for the test and it ran sweetly on my table for a couple of hours. The vaporiser needle can be felt at the top when shut down, and there was no need to prick this unlike Tilley models which all seem to need a regular poking at.This will be stripped and scalded out with boiling water before being shipped, and will more than likely need a new set of seals to hand when it is reassembled, as they don’t like being disturbed when of some age.
