For Sale is ONE EACH _USED_Coleman Powermate Commercial Heater 45,000 BTU propane heater. This unit MUST BE used in anoutdoor or ventilated environment. CAUTION: This product DOES NOT have a sensor to cut off the propane in the absence of oxygen. and must not be used in a closed environment. This is the best radiant heater available and is no longer produced by Coleman. Why? I suspect it is because folks didn't read the directions and used it inside without ventilation and died of oxygen deprivation as a result. I have used similar models for many years and vouch they are the absolute best! Get too close to it and it will scorch your *ss! I used it 2-4 days per year and always stored it in a special case so it would not get damaged.FYI...these heaters usually fail when the burner deteriorates and burns through the metal burner. So, I removed the burner to make photos to show they ARE NOT burnt through and therefore in good condition.This one is an earlier model which DOES NOT have the secondary shield between the burner (added to later models) and the back enclosure so the back gets very hot in use - believe me... don't touch it when hot. It is completely functional and the pics were taken January 2017. There have been reports of scammers buying a unit and exchanging the burner with a bad one then returning and claim they received it with a burnt out burner. I WILL NOT refund a returned heater with a burnt out burner.
