I did forward your email to the Archives Department. Here is the response:What he has is a Bean's Pack Sack, first appearance was Spring 1934, last appearance was Fall 1942. The label is telling me that this sack could be from Fall 1934 to Fall 1940. L.L.Bean was incorporated the Summer of 1934.The straps are not original to the sack. An owner must have replaced them with the Hoyt straps."
