These are rare to come by, and certainly not for this price - new saddles go for over $5,000 - and for good reason, Devoucoux is one of the best saddle makers in the world.
The leather is in good condition, thick and soft. This saddle still has many many good years left in it. The leather in Devoucoux saddles is top quality, so it keeps it's softness and with normal care will never resemble one of those hard old creaky saddles!
Devoucoux saddles are all handcrafted and are part the group I consider the top elite french saddle manufacturers : Butet, Childeric, Antares, and Delgrange. My opinion (although I know many other professionals who agree with me) is that these five manufacture the best luxury saddles in the world. Devoucoux saddles are known for their great fit, and incomparable comfort.
We are Based in Switzerland, and am selling this saddle from here (even though I was not able to put in the correct postal code in my listing). I have a long experience shipping saddles, and will send it well packed and insured. have sold numerous saddles on ebay, and have always had very satisfied customers. I will ship anywhere :) I do not accept returns unless the item was not as described, so please know your size in Devoucoux saddles before bidding!
This saddle is in absolutely wonderful, virtually new condition. The leather is doubled in calfskin: gorgeous, thick and soft. There are a few small scratches at the back of the seat (see pictures)This Devoucoux saddle is absolutely beautiful. The pictures speak for themselves. :) Saddle size is an 17.5″ (measures true).
