Relum Super 7KX canvas frame tent in good used condition.
4.3m (14 ft) wide, 4.9m (16 ft) long, internal height at ridge = 2.25m (7ft4), internal height at doorways = 1.83m (6ft).Now that our family has grown up it is time to say a fond farewell to our amazing camping tent. We have enjoyed many happy times in this tent and also sat dry through the foulest of wet and windy weather. Hoping that another family can now enjoy all that this tent has to offer.This top-quality Czech made tent uses the finest Terka canvas which gives it superior weather resistance while keeping you cool on hot days. Apparently these Super 7 tents have been used on Everest base camp! The 4-berth has a drop-down divider, and makes it great for families and extended holidays. We are a family of five and it was perfect for us. My garden is so small, the photos do not capture the spaciousness of this tent, but it is very roomy.The front wall can roll up or be raised as a canopy and the side door also converts to a side sun canopy with poles and ropes included for this. There is a ventilated push-out kitchen area with skylight. Stylish curtains complete the retro look!The frame in generally in good condition, spring-linked and colour coded for easy erection (see picture). In checking the tent yesterday, we discovered that one spring has become detached but I’m sure this is repairable and would not affect the functioning of the tent. The zips, pegging out rubbers and ropes are all in good condition.For completeness, I will detail a few issues which are minor and not detrimental but want to be honest about its condition.• Nibbled bags – one year we had mice in our garage and they had quite a feast nibbling the canvas bags. The pole bag was the worst affected (see photo). It does not affect the bag too much and could easily be repaired.• In nibbling the bags, a mouse made a very tiny hole in the tent roof which we discovered once we had pitched the tent on holiday! We repaired with an airbed patch which proved very effective for the duration of our holiday. This could easily be repaired in a more permanent way.• One of the rubber hangers on one of the inner compartments has broken, but could be easily replaced• The zip seal on the front door has two splits towards the bottom of the door, again repairable. (see photo)This tent is a work horse, made using quality materials and methods. It has many years of useful life left in it. Can you give it a happy home?We are also including a Sunnflair tall canvas 4-shelf camping larder which is really useful for extended holidays. It looks like the model pictured in the link below but is blue in colour.
