Answer: It does a pretty good job of deflecting rain off the sides without it coming in too much. For the top I bought a can of tent waterproofing spray $5. and sprayed it before we used it the first time. Almost 2 yrs later still waterproof.
Question: What is the size when stored in carrying bag?

This Coleman shelter is being used on a 12' by 16' wooden deck in order to screen out mosquitoes. An oval metal table and 6 chairs fit comfortably inside it and it is tied down to the deck posts with the six anchor cords. It is well designed and very sturdy; the shelter stayed in place during a recent very strong wind which blew garbage cans across the yard. “Coleman Shelter 12 x 10”
