Brand new 2017 Jimmy tarps alpine basin. New for 2017 we've made the pole boot bigger to allow the butt of the trekking pole to fit. We've reduced the amount of stakes it takes for setup, from 20 to 18. Can be setup up with as few as 6-8. Same bombproof shelter. The alpine basin was designed for alpine ridges or high wind areas. The design allows the wind to just flow over the top. The dimensions of the alpine basin,setup are 48" high front, 32" high rear. Front width 7'-3" tapering down to 55" rear. Front and rear zippered doors, stove jack included as well as interior loops for clothes line. Made from 1.1 ounce silpoly, sewn with 100 percent high strength gutterman thread and USA made in Oregon
