It is a pleasure to open an auction with this special object of a primus stove in the beginning of new year 2017:Vintage and very rare FUHRMEISTER NR.8, military stove. Made in Norway byEGIL FUHRMEISTER METALLVAREFABRIK & CO. The brass tank seems very good without any bulbs or damages, and maintains the pressure very well.
I have changed pumpleather, NRV and sealings.
The stove is now back in an excellent condition, and I guess this is a real "found of an object".
The burner cup is marked Fuhrmeister and helds 5 rings of holes, what is special for Fuhrmeister's stoves.
Tested and it burns with an execellent blue flame.
This stove was hard to find, even in Norway where they are produced.See photos for condition.I will take this opportunity to wish my customers and people who have followed my articles, a Happy New Year !
