Up for bid is a vintage working Coleman early 220B lantern. The lantern is all original including the etched Coleman logo globe. Dated on the bottom 1-2 making it a Jan 1932 lantern. The lantern is in pretty good condition for its age. The globe is perfect with out damage. It has the etched Coleman rising sun logo with the etched Pyrex on the other side. The vent has some chips and is missing some paint. The font is nickle and has no dents, it has some stains that may come off with some buffing, it has the Coleman rising sun logo stamped in it under the adjustment knob. The frame has rust, but probable could be restored to look much better. I have did nothing but wipe the dust off the lantern and put new mantles to see if it would fire up and work. The bail is attached to the frame with cotter pins. It has the T handle fuel cap. It is marked on the bottom Made in USA Coleman Lamp & Stove Co. Wichita Kas Instant Lite 220B. It is a working lantern as the pictures show. I have included many for you to check out. The lantern can be restored to look better, or I feel it looks very nice as is. It will be prepared for safe shipping to you. The mantles will be removed for shipping and the font drained of fuel. I have sold many lanterns and have never had any problems with broken globes or damaged lanterns during shipping. It will be shipped by USPS Priority mail and I will ship it world wide.
