Adidas Terrex Fast R Mid GTX Walking Shoe
Be quick and surefooted on the mountain in these men's mid-cut outdoor shoes. A mesh and synthetic upper delivers breathable, lightweight stability, while a breathable GORE-TEX® lining keeps the wet out. Shock-absorbing ADIPRENE+ cushions the foot, and a TRAXION outsole grips slick surfaces. The shoe has a ripstop upper with neoprene collar for comfort and protection, as well as protective toe and heel caps.
Air Mesh Upper
Constructed with an air mesh upper allowing the Terrex Shoe to enhance air flow between the feet and the interior. GORE-TEX lining on the interior is a waterproof, breathable fabric membrane which is able to repel liquid water while allowing water vapour to pass through and is designed to be a lightweight, waterproof fabric for all-weather usage. Ripstop upper supplemented with synthetic materials and highly abrasion-resistant weldings ensure the overall weight is lessened without sacrificing stability and support. Lace bungee stows laces to help avoid tangling and last but not least completing the upper is a plush tongue and collar included to enhance comfort already afforded by the shoe.
Cushioned Midsole
Setting you up for a powerful propulsion through the gait cycle the midsole is created with adiPRENE technology - an insert at the heel between the mid and the upper which helps absorb impacting shock whilst simultaneously providing lasting cushioning throughout the trail. An ortholite sockliner has been introduced to the midsole which offers a solution to quell moisture. The sockliner has been employed to transport excess moisture away from the feet to leave behind a drier, more comfortable environment. Keeping the interior fresher ensures the shoe lasts longer.
Continental Rubber Outsole
Dual technology works within the outsole finishing the competitive shoe. PRO-MODERATOR, a new innovative technology designed to prevent over-pronation is utilised as a medial support device. A secondary component, Continental Rubber enables a greater purchase underfoot, specifically delivering optimal grip in wet and challenging conditions.
