Montane Flux Outdoor Jacket
Designed for cold and damp conditions in the mountains. Featuring layered 100g and 60g PrimaLoft SILVER ECO combined to maximise insulation without compromising comfort, the Flux was conceived to be more than a simple belay jacket. Extensively tested on the big walls of Patagonia's Fitzroy in some of the most changeable weather conditions on earth.
Construction Constructed from 100% recycled PERTEX Classic ECO fabric that is completely windproof, showerproof and is incredibly fast drying. PEAQ synthetic lining that is supremely comfortable next to the skin, highly breathable and fast drying this jacket has maximum comfortability in the harshest of environments. Zoned Insulation 100g PrimaLoft SILVER Eco in the body and 60g PrimaLoft SILVER Eco in the arms and hood with an extra layer of 6-g PrimaLoft SILVER Eco in the front of the hand pockets provides the perfect blend for insane insulation keeping you warm no matter what. Hood Configuration A fully adjustable helmet compatible hood with three points of adjustment and a wired peak allows you to adjust the hood to your preferences no matter what. An internal elastic loop and hook on rear hood compression drawcord allows the hood to be rolled down and stowed away whilst not in use in windy conditions. The inner hood is storm lined with Pertex Microlight Rip-stop providing that bit more protection from the elements ensuring your head stays as warm as possible. Pocket Configuration Two map-sized Napoleon chest pockets provide safe and convenient storage spaces for any essentials or valuables you may wish to take with you, whilst two deep A-line hand-warmer pockets positioned clear of a backpack or climbing harness belt offer a place for your hands to get warm in harsh weather conditions. Easy sliding YKK Vislon zips throughout for use in icy conditions and finally an internal left-hand stretch mesh pocket that also provides a safe place for any valuable items. Front Centre Zip, Cuffs And Sleeves Configuration A full-length, reversed and baffled two way YKK Vislon front zip offers ease of use with a backpack or climbing harness, whilst a soft fleece beard guard next to the chin provides extra comfort. Articulated arms offer high reach movement and are tailored specifically to reduce hem lift, shaped cuffs with adjustable hook and loop tabs offer ease of use with gloves or mitts. Additional Features An adjustable hem prevents spindrift entry and heat loss whilst the jacket stuffs into a right-hand pocket for easy storage. The Flux jacket uses PERTEX fabric which contains a Durable Water Repellency (DWR) as the first barrier in keeping you dry.
