The Zamberlan 6000 Karka RR is our latest technical expedition boot (6000 meter) using a double-boot system.The upper of the 6000 Karka RR uses an external shell of durable Superfabric (Ceramic Cordura) laminated with felt and elastic fabric with EVA for cushioning and thermal resistance. A 2.0 mm microfiber insert over the heel and toe give additional support to the exterior shell. The FWS lacing system with side camlocks ensure technical fit and sure hold. The inner removable bootee, specifically developed to grant warmth, is lined in mesh for better internal ventilation. A thermal removable footbed employs a PE layer for cushioning and aluminum film for optimal thermal retention. The foundation of the boot featuers a fiber glass and polypropylene blend midsole to ensure an optimal mix of rigidity and lightness. The dual-density PU wedge offers support and cushion in optimal touch points. The Vibram Teton outsole provides extended durability and grip. The Zamberlan PCS (professional crampon system) integrates seamlessly into the outsole and is designed to fit leading technical crampons perfectly.Handcrafted in Italy.
