Outfitted with the energy return of boost, these men's outdoor boots are designed for speed hiking and fast-paced snowshoeing. Climaheat combines PrimaLoft insulation with a comfortable moulded collar design to keep feet warm and snow out. The Continental Rubber outsole provides extraordinary grip on snow and ice.
ClimaProof Upper The upper of the Adidas Terrex Tracefinder Walking Shoes is developed with Adidas ClimaProof which is a weather protection technology that helps to optimise the body's temperature and shield against harsh wind, rain, storms, and now. Although it provides a warm, protective barrier from the elements, Adidas ClimaProof is also breathable and allows moisture to easily escape. Adidas ClimaProof products are built to withstand the harshest of winter conditions. The treated shell acts as a barrier against cold weather while allowing heat and sweat to escape and eventually evaporate on the surface. The upper is also constructed with a woven textile lining while fitted with Climaheat which combines PrimaLoft insulation with an innovative moulded collar design to keep feet warm and snow out.
BOOST Midsole Roughly 2,500 tiny oval, elastic bubbles of air make up a typical Boost midsole. These capsules store and unleash energy in an ultra-efficient way, "boosting" the runner throughout their step. It may look like tightly-packed Styrofoam, but it certainly doesn't act like it. Instead of flattening like Styrofoam does when you step on it, Boost foam springs back to life, returning that energy back to your foot. Another key advantage is Boost's performance in extreme weather conditions. Tests have shown Boost foam is three times more temperature-resistant than standard EVA foam. So, whether in oppressive heat or bone-chilling cold, you shouldn't have to worry about your Boost kicks holding up.
