A lovely 1944 Vapalux 300, a 72 year old lamp and works great. This has the squat tank which is steel and also the frame. Made during WW2 when brass was restricted for the war effort. The colour is actually a darker blue/grey, the camera is making it look bright blue All new seals, pump washer and a non asbestos wick fitted. The blue enamel hood is original with only small amount chipped. Lit it for an hour, always nice seeing your lamp actually working. It has a Bialaddin stamped glass, a new mantle supplied.Please study all the pictures because they comprise an integral part of this description, it's an old lamp and as such will show signs of use, age, along with ware and tear.I have other lamps listed, they make great Christmas presents to give.Will be wrapped and boxed VERY well, sent by tracked courier & to be signed for.
