A vintage Hawaiian complete skateboard from the late 1950s/early 1960s featuring Duke Kahanamoku, the famous Hawaiian surfer.  This example was bought at a garage sale in Aina Haina on Oahu, Hawaii, from an older gent.  His family were the original owners of the board and he recalls his daughter riding it quite a bit when she was young many years ago.  I imagine about the time Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner were at the height of their popularity in the mid 1960s, judging from the tiny Road Runner sticker attached below the stylized portrait of Duke.  Measures 23" x 5 1/2" and the clay wheels spin just fine.  As for the board, it's a bit rough, but come on; it's getting on for 60 years old!
