Description
21st century EDGE longbow also known as Callaway archery. Milton Callaway is the maker, he makes some of the best longbows in the world and the owners of the company before him (Jim and Buddy) we're also stellar shooters and bow makers. These longbows hold more world championship and national titles any other longbow I know of. They are insanely popular in Europe and are probably one of the smoothest shooting bows because of the design. Less is definitely more. This is the last of the breed born on August 10, 2015. Milton had a fire in his shop and maybe some time before he gets fully online for making bows again. I also shoot a LONESTAR for competitions in TX.Model number 2221C serial number 081015–01Made in Jacksonville Texas. AMO 70" #43 @ 31 inches.Fast Flight String w/HALO serving *recommend arrow: GOLD TIP 600 with 100-125 grain points*For those of you who know archery, this is one special bow with a serious pedigree. Fantastic design is the magic here. She took 3rd at the US indoor nationals last year MMLB with wood arrows. Shoots lights out and hits there you "pick a spot". Shoots straight up and down (target style) or canted (Fred Bear style). Perfect for indoor and 3-D competitions. And also plenty of power for hunting.Hate to sell, but I am moving back to the recurve and I need to build out a new ILF recurve bow for 2017.Excellent condition no scrapes or scratches, adult driven, never dry fired and lovingly taken care of. I think the pictures really tell the story, this is one beautiful bow. The wood is mostly bubinga/bocote/bamboo and some white hard rock maple, also carbon fiber, clear glass and carmel bamboo veneers.
