A beautiful restored Bialaddin Bowl Fire heater lamp. I have similar working lanterns listed, they all work as they should. All new seals fitted, pump washer and a non asbestos wick. Has a nice guard which is rare, they normally get lost or thrown away. Lit for 2 hrs today, nice seeing what you're buying actually working. These work on a fixed wire mantle, there's no fiddling with tie on mantles.These Bowl Fires retailed in 1953 at a whopping £4-7s-6p, that was half of 'Mr average' wage ! back then he paid a crippling 47.5% income tax !!!....... "we've never had so good"Please study all the pictures because they comprise an integral part of this description, it's an old heater lamp and as such will show signs of use, age, along with ware and tear.Will be wrapped and boxed VERY well, sent by courier and to be signed for.
