The Pro Series Splitting Maul is a Professional grade splitting tool that utilizes a German designed head made to be used for heavy and rigorous splitting tasks. This sharp, steep incline wedge will outperform most other common splitting axes. The head features a bird's beak turn around hook for moving logs. The Helko Pro Series was created for the discerning professional. These tools are designed to withstand long term rigorous use with utmost consideration to safety. All axes and mauls incorporate a safety screw installed through the head into the handle to prevent the head from working free of the shaft. The powder coated sheet steel overstrike protector reduces shaft wear and breakage, and protects against miss swings. HEAD
