The Sierra Designs Flash 3 is a 3 person lightweight, freestanding backpacking tent that also features a retractable fly. The retractable fly allows for multiple ventilation options and fair weather stargazing. When they are rolled down, the retractable fly panels are secured with side release buckles for quick, adjustable connections. The Flash 3 is easy to set up or take down and has a great amount of usable space for 3 campers. The shockcorded DAC Hubbed aluminum frame is light and strong. Set up is fast and intuitive. It is a side entry, 2 door tent. Because the overhang of the fly extends past the door you can be assured that entry into the tent will be dry. It has factory sealed floor and fly seams so there are no weather worries. It has 2 Gear Closets (vestibules) for stowing extra gear and plenty of ventilation.
