The high temperatures of the ceramic causes the wood to gasify, the main draft supplies ample cross and over air to complete the burn before it enters the heat exchanger area.When the draft is closed the secondary air is preheated as it is directed across the top of the fire box and mixes with the wood gas in the heat exchange area. The ceramic combustion chamber converts the wood to a charcoal state in a very short time open allowing the fire to be dampened down and will heat for hours without creosote. All stoves our built in our shop in Yaak Montana. They can be ordered fan-top or cook top. We guarantee them!
