Christmas will be here before you know it. Have you ever considered an antique horse drawn sleigh for your front lawn display ? This is your chance. Our family has enjoyed decorating this sleigh for Christmas for 28 years. Pulled out of dry storage before each Christmas season, we wrap and pile in fake gifts, position a small Christmas tree hanging off the back, hook up a flood light & enjoy the season. The kids are now grown, so it's time to downsize. This Portland Cutter was manufactured by the Cortland Cart & Carriage Co. Sidney NY between its establishment in 1885 & the turn of the century. This sleigh measures 43 in. wide 48 in. high and 80 in. long. I would guess it weighs an awkward 80 lbs. Look at the pictures carefully. There are 2 areas in particular in need of wood repair . One area on one of the runners and one area on one of the rails. Otherwise, this sleigh is very sound showing no soft or rotted wood. A paint job is also in order. I do not have yoke or rails for it. Ask any and all questions. Pick up only. I can help load with an able bodied buyer.
