For your consideration is a hybrid cuben fiber/ripstop nylon hammock fly. I needed a wider fly to keep out blowing rain when in my bridge style hammock (I no longer have that need).The cuben part is a standard 11x8 ZPACKS hammock fly ($249 new). The black aprons are waterproof ripstop nylon. Total weight is 20 oz. which includes four Nite-Ize down guys w/ biners, two figure 9s (pic 9), and snake skins (pic 8). You get everything shown in the pictures except the trees and stakes. One apron is two feet wide and the other is one foot wide…also makes for some privacy. There are six optional tie-out loops in addition to the original ZPACKS factory loops. I have added 4x4 “rock pockets” (pic 4) to the corners to keep the aprons from flapping in the breeze when not guyed out. All my work is machine stitched with heavy duty thread. There are two minor repairs to the cuben part as shown in pics 6 and 7. One was caused by a falling branch, the other by a campfire cinder. They are small, practically invisible, and not an issue. I will include the repair tape that ZPACKS supplied. This fly is ready to use.Immediate payment by PayPal is expected. This is a 'buy it NOW', not an auction.
